Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about Pacoverso Association, its experiences, access, donations, privacy and responsible AI.

What is Pacoverso, in simple terms?

Pacoverso creates educational and interactive experiences, such as digital escape rooms, to work on coexistence, critical thinking and responsible use of technology. They are not games for the sake of a catalogue: they are purposeful experiences designed for active learning.

Is this an escape room catalogue?

No. Pacoverso is more about experiences than product cards. Some proposals may work for families, others for classrooms or organisations, but the idea is always the same: what happens inside the experience should matter outside it.

Are the escape rooms free?

The intention is to keep resources open whenever possible. Some materials may require simple registration, usually an email address, to manage access, provide support if something fails and prevent abuse of limited infrastructure.

Will you fill my inbox?

No. Pacoverso does not send spam. Email is used for access, support or necessary communications. If a news channel is offered in the future, it should be clear, voluntary and easy to manage.

Why is there a donation option if access is free?

Creating and maintaining experiences takes time, tools, servers, testing and support. Donations are voluntary and help sustain the association and new content. Donating is not buying: donors support the project; non-donors can still access open resources.

What does sponsoring an escape room mean?

It means supporting an experience so it can exist, improve or remain open. It can help review materials, create new proposals, maintain access and give continuity to work that takes many hours.

Do I need to install anything?

Usually, no. The idea is to enter and participate without complications. If an experience needs an extra step, such as organising a group or completing a form, it will be clearly explained.

What do I need to play properly?

You need a device with a browser, a stable connection and some calm time. A computer, tablet, phone or VR headset may work depending on the experience. In classrooms or families, it works best when played to think and talk, not just to rush.

Can it be played on mobile or is a computer better?

It can be played on mobile, but a computer or tablet is recommended for reading, navigating and sharing more comfortably. If a group is involved, a large screen, projector or TV can help a lot.

How long does each experience last?

It depends on the proposal. Some are short and others can take a full session. Each experience should indicate an approximate duration and recommended dynamic.

Can it be played in a group?

Yes. It can be played alone, with family, with friends, in class or as a team. Many experiences work very well with small groups, although they can be adapted to other formats.

Do we need a video call if we play remotely?

It is not mandatory. If people are in different places, a call can help coordination, but the experience can still be done if everyone has access and agrees how to move forward.

Are there hints if we get stuck?

Yes. The idea is to move forward and learn, not to get blocked. Each experience may include help or hints with different levels of guidance depending on the activity.

Is it difficult? Is this only for very technical people?

No. There may be different levels, but the philosophy is to challenge just enough, make it meaningful and keep the experience enjoyable. It is not designed as an exam or a test for specialists.

What happens if the internet drops or something fails?

Usually you can try again. If a specific error appears, the best thing is to report it so it can be reviewed. The aim is simple access and problems that can be corrected.

Can it be used by a school, parent association or organisation?

Yes. Many experiences are designed for classrooms, tutoring, coexistence or values work. If you are a school or organisation, you can write to receive guidance on which proposal fits best.

Can I suggest topics or collaborate?

Yes. Pacoverso grows with real ideas: coexistence, phones, social networks, peer pressure, cybersecurity, memory, culture or any meaningful social and educational topic. Proposals are reviewed carefully.

How are privacy and data handled?

Only the minimum necessary is requested. If information is collected, such as an access email or a form, it must have a clear purpose: managing access, support and safe use. Full information is provided in the privacy policy.

What should I do if I still have a question?

You can write to Pacoverso and explain what you need. There are people behind the project, not automatic support without context. If you want to use the resources, suggest something or collaborate, you are welcome.
